Raramente eventos grandes e religiosos, principalmente cristãos evangélicos que pela sua natural liberdade e espotaneidade tangenciam apresentações musicais seculares mantendo a qualidade técnica, musical e principalmente a atmosfera de espiritualidade, o que sem dúvida é o objetivo principal a ser alcançado.
No Brasil principalmente, cantores falam, dizem coisas absolutamente inconvenientes enquanto cantam, ou por serem fora de hora, desnecessários, artificiais e até patéticos como o detestável grito de "tira o pé do chão!" Sem contar a igualmente detestável clima de competição, quando mais famosos exigem que apareçam mais em determinados momentos, dizem coisas juntos, etc.
Houve alguns momentos na história da música cristã evangélica brasileira muito positivos, um mais recente, embora agora pareça não tanto, foi o "Troféu Talento" patrocinado pela IURD reunindo cantores de denominações sem nenhuma ou pouca intimidade uma com as outras, que resultou em canções memoráveis que lotaram todas igrejas e denominações, desde pequenas a grandes, levando muitas almas a conhecerem a Bíblia, a Igreja Evangélica, e aceitarem a Cristo em nosso país. De tradicionais, reformados, passando por pentecostais, neo pentecostais e alguns paraprotestantes como a Igreja Voz da Verdade e Adventistas do Sétimo Dia e Judeus Messiânicos.
A fama, muito dinheiro, muitos discos vendidos, muitos shows e aparições na Tv aberta e secular, dividiu esses cantores, gravadoras e igrejas. Hoje os mesmos criadores desse formato o vendem para a Rede Globo, fazem um certo movimento musical, mas sem a mesma confiabilidade daqueles tempos.
Muitos crentes podem dizer que o Diabo nada teve ou tem com isso, mas eu particularmente compreendo que ele usou o ciúme desses cantores, promotores, igrejas, gravadores e empresas para deter aquele grande movimento e atrasar e impedir momentaneamente um grande avanço conseguido pela graça de Deus. E os cantores e gravadoras e pastores caíram nessa! Aqueles que pregavam e pregam o Evangelho a milhões não discerniram a jogada feita por Satanás.
Não ganhamos sempre! A vida espiritual ou jornada espiritual nesse mundo não é um terreno plano. Enganam-se aqueles que pensam não sermos passíveis de sofrer derrota momentâneas as quais se fôssemos mais atentos não sofreríamos. E essas derrotas não sucedem quando estamos quando estamos dependentes de Deus para todas as coisas inclusive as aparentemente mínimas mas justamente quando estamos seguros e quando dizemos para nós mesmos: "isso é fácil, isso eu posso resolver e decidir!"
